Cars Q&A

Question
I have a 2000 Matiz. I suspect a malfunction of its fuel gauge. It appears irratic and unreliable. A replacement is presumably costly affair. Is there any way out to find the fuel level in the tank? A dipstick may not work because the fuel passage is not straight vertical. Not knowing how much fuel is in the tank creates anxiety.
