Hi,
As a general rule by completion of 40K the clutch wear out and hence replacement is common. However the handling of the same such as clutch pedal ride, too mch usage etc is also to be considered.

Dear Shivaji ,
All the car comes into market with proper checking , so clutch problem comes for driving it may comes before 40000 km or after 40000 km . I have Santro Xing own drive and already run 50000 km but still no problem found into clutch & break also .

Verna is a good vehicle and it is best in its class.

Hi,

All diesel cars are problematic w.r.t maintenance cost but another side they give good milage & Verna is one of the best Diesel car in the country.

One of my friend is owning Verna CRDi since it's released, he is using on single hand basis & he is doing proper maintenance as per the service expert's adivice.

He hasn't faced any problem yet where the car has clocked more than 40K Kms.

Hi ... I've been using Verna Fluidic (Diesel, 1.6, manual) since launch (Jul'11), clocked 40K km, absolutely no problem & excellent mileage (never below 21, on an average 21.8 with AC on 1). Daily 40 ~ 50 km (Sat-Sun off), singke handed, regular servicing, driving on average road conditions ....absolutely no problem.

Never buy fluidic Verna, for me it is is giving clutch problem every 8000km to 10000km run, now after just 15000km run pick is drastically reduced, service centre is also not help

I'll tell u something technical things about clutch. It is wear & tear item & depends on it's uses. In city limits b'coz of traffic v have to use clutch very frequently.

Answer by Seemant Gawde 05 May 2014

So that clutch life reduces. 40000km is normal life for clutch in most of the cars, which is running in traffic.

Answer by Seemant Gawde 05 May 2014

I will never recommend to buy Verna fluidic. I purchased fluidic 1.6 diesel on Oct 2013, was geittng my car serviced timely. Then comes the real trouble after just 33000 kms.
