Cars Q&A

dear friends, earlier i was using WAGON R and i sold it. now i am looking for a ACCENT VIVA CRDI. will u suggest me is it the right move. bcoz my daily running will be not less than 100 km. and what about the performance and maintanance of the vehicle. thank u.......

Accent VIVA CRDI is a good car with some sporty looks, engine is powerful and you can expect a sporty, peppy drive..
On the other hand VIVA CRDI is no more in the market, you may find some difficulty in finding spare parts, however you can expect support from Hyundai dealers.
If u are not much bothered of investing money on this beauty, go for it.. Happy driving..

i am sorry to say Mr.Pradeep but
hyunddai has discontinued accent viva crdi.
if it was available then it would be best

now since diesel car only would best suit you
so its your option to go for what(sedan or hatch)
in hatchback segment
maruti suzuki swift vdi
is the best in terms of everything

but if you are tired seeing swift and at every blink you see a swift
so hyundai i10 crdi magna would be best alternate
if you can spend bit more then go for higher model for more featurs.

now if you want a sedan then
go swift dzire vdi or zdi

mahindra logan

rest if you can extend your budget more
go for hyundai verna

best buy

Hello Rejish

I would recemmond you to throughly go through the ownership reviews of Accent CRDI's in team-bhp website. I would recemmond to keep away from this car, the car is good on power and smoothness and will make you woww when riding but the draw back of this car is it has a very bad fuel injectors and fuel pump, any slight mixing of fuel affects adversably on this engine, your fuel pump and injectors will surely go for a toss during the first 80 K period. The shocks are very expensive for this model of car and not to mention the spare parts are not sooo cheap for this version and its a discontinued model because of the fuel pump issue, i would recemmond to keep away from diesel engines of Hyundai. for diesels always rely on Toyotos or Fiat engines. Ex: Manza, dezire, Swift, Punto Lineas.. just check car wale due to release of Linea Tjet many owners are selling their lineas and you might get one for a steal price, good luck

Expert`s comment:

Though Hyundai Vern CRDI is a good choice, consideirng daily usage of 100KM and probable condition of accent CRDI, it will be worth going for a new diesel car like Indica Vista or a Indigo Manza as depending upon budget.
