Samsher,
If your main crieteria is Low Maintenance then obviously, the FORD vehicles are not for you. Not only that thier spares are constly, the After Sales Service is so Pathetic that you really repent on the decision. I have this efirst hand experience and I came to know through various forums about their 'Don't Care' attitude towards customers. Even FORD is not very approachable and effective in getting any help whatsoever. My advise would definitely be Vista here especially Quadrajet which has a FIAT Engine & Powertrain with TATA's excellent and lavish Interiors and space.

Hi, I have a Ford Figo and I must tell u that the Service at Metro ford Bangalore has been very good. The service advisor was very friendly and customer oriented. The service cost was also only Rs.960.The general notion about Fords mainatence cost may not be true now that Ford has Localised in India by setting up a plant in Chennai and the spares/Cars being manufactured here.I think Ford has serious plans for India and has been making serious efforts to keep the maintenence costs down.

Go for a Maruthi vehicle, because the maintanance cost is very low. The spares are very cheap and easily available. Service is very good. Ford spares are not only costly, you will have to travel a lot for the spares, if any problem comes when you are in a remote area. Maruthi Ritz will be a good choice. The new version of Swift is own the way..
