Morning Shiva / Rohit, Yesterday Ford Ikon reduced theie prize to Rs5.08(EX Show room Prize). You already suggested to buy Indigo ecs or Dezire petrol. Kindly brief the merits & demerits of Ikon and your strong suggestion... Regards Muthuvel.S

Merits: Strong build, safe & good space.

Demerits: Low resale value, Outdated looks, Spares & Maintenance are costly, Less mileage.

Better opt for Dezire

Swift Vdi is a Diesel model and for your usage it is not suited. For a Diesel car you need to use atleast 2000km per month.

Go for Swift Dezire Vxi (Petrol)

Hi,
Advantage of the Ikon is the better styling, interior fit and finish.Drawback is the service network which needs to be improved much.If you are not happy with the styling of Indigo eCS then Desire would be the best selection.
