Dear All, I had purchased a second hand Hyundai Accent 2003 model in Aug 2009, the car had already done 90k kms, since then I have been using the car for household needs and have done another 15k kms. So, the car by now has done a total 100k plus kms. The car has been giving me an average of 8 kms/ltr. I need the car for daily commuting for about 100 kms, therefore its imperative for me to have a high mileage vehicle and am thus thinking of CNG, as this will be cheap and increase the mileage. What I want to ask is that can i opt for a CNG cylinder for improved mileage and if yes are there any repercussions on maintainance going up or the car not performing well? I would really appreciate if someone can help me out here.

Hi,
Considering the mileage you are getting, expected improvement in mileage with CNG kit, it would be worth installing the CNG kit.

Thanks Mr Shiva, but since the car is so old do u think that CNG will not only help in improving the mileage but also in leading to high maintainance and engine problems?
