Cars Q&A

I need to buy small car either new or -3 yrs old.i require to fit CNG. can u suggest me good car in range of 1.5 to 3.5lac

  • The Alto is a smooth, reliable and very economical car in that price range. Fitting a CNG or LPG kit on it should not be a problem either, and it will cost you around 18,000-20,000. The new kits fit the tank into where your spare tyre is seated now, so you will not lose too much boot space either. Another suggestion - if you want to save some money and buy second hand, go for the Certified Maruti second hand cars. They do a really good job of checking used cars for quality. Do not go to a dealer who sells all sorts of cars.

  • U can go 4 santro or spark. Both r good. Even if u want value for money buy indica xeta. More spacious & room bt with engine not that refined. Go 4 cng conversion which will cost u 35000-40000. Cng is cheaper than Lpg. Lpg will cost 3.5-4 rs/km while Cng is 1-1.5 rs/km.

  • hi lalit,
First thinG u gotta keep in mind is that LPG and CNG are different forms of gas.. one is LIQUID And the Other is NAtural.
i have a CNG esteem, it runs 140km in just Rs.180. where in LPG rates are more high..
Onli the fittinG wil cost u 35,000.
if u study the market u wil see that the Cng rates instead of increasinG keeps decreasinG.
u can call Mr. Saeed: 9892286641.
he wil giv u a gud idea hOw to gO abt things..
    he's a automobile engineer.
he wil guide u in the rite direction.
keep in mind he ainT a DEALER..
he got me a gOOD CNG vehicle and im more than satisfied with it cauz its cheaper than a bus fair even..
dont go for a new version car and then fit a cng cauz it has a mpfi engine. which goes direct to the engine..
go for a oolder car cauz the gas mixes with the carbonator and then goes to the engine.
any vehicle which does not have a mpfi engine, will be a great deal.
tc, and have a nice time.
