hi i have cbz xtreme its giving me starting 60 then 2 month later < 40 after 1 year 6 month later giving > 73. how i dont know but am really happy for my bike.

35 IS TOO LOW .. PL CHECK FOLLOWING
1.. GIVE IT TO SERVICE AND TELL TO WELL CLEAN CARBURATAR . AIR FILTER .. CLUCH ADJUSTMENT .PLUG ADJUST MENT..DRIVE CHAIN ADJUSTMENT .VALVE ADJUST IF TOO LOOSE OR TOO TIGHT ..CHECK IF ANY OIL LEAKAGE IN ENGINE...TYRE AIR PRESURE ..
IN MORE SIMPLE WORDS OPEN PLUG AND SEE IF IT IS TOO BLACK LIKE BLACK POWDER THAN NEED /TELL TO CORRECT BIKE ...AND IF ITS NOB IS LIKE BROWN COLOUR THAN NEED TO IMPROVE MILLAGE BY GOOD DRIVING.....
LIKE AVOID UN NESSARY USE OF BRAKE /CLUCH
TRY TO USE MORE TOP GEAR ..
WHEN SPEED DOWN THAN CHANGE GEAR TO LOWER..
CHECK FRONT DISK / BACK BRAKE .IF IT HEAT OVER THAN CORRECT
IT.. HORN AND BRAKE MUST WORK PROPER .... CHECK PETROL /MILLAGE BY RESERVE TO RESERV TAKE ONE LTR IN BOTTLE AND FILL THAN CHECK .. ASK ALSO UR AREA ANOTHER EXTRREEM USERS HOW MUCH MILLAGE THEY GETTING..
FOLLOW ABOVE SURE U WILL GET BEST RESULTS

i got 58 km, driving between 45 & 50 try that,

One month back I bought my CBZ 2011 model with odo 48000 KMs and i got only 35Km per ltr. i did full service and replaced timing chain, even after service i got mileage around 40 only. so i decided to do some adjustment on my own and now iam getting around 55km. Please try the followings to improve your mileage.
1.check spark plug for carbon deposit, looks like black powder coating. it means your carburetor is in rich mixture of fuel. Do full carburetor cleaning and tune it to lean fuel mixture.
2.Adjust the spark plug gap.
3.Use only 10w30 grade engine oil.
4.Change the air filter if it is 10000Kms old.
5.Engine should run idle between 1000 to 1100rpm in cold start, else ask mechanic to adjust the valves.(we cant do it without proper knowledge and tools)
As i have some mechanical knowledge i did these things on my own except valve adjustment. Please dont try if you don`t know anything, better search some good mechanic and tell him to do this.
A complete cleaning and optimum tuning of carburetor will solve mileage issues.

sir recently i bought cbz xtreme bike 2010 model. and iam changing the chain sparkets, brake show, and engine oil. before change the parts the bike is 35 km of mailage. after change the parts mailage is upto 40 km. but i want 50km mailage plz help me.

i own a 2011 cbz extreme, which gave me an impressive mileage of 55 to 60 earlier. After the reading met 42000 kms the efficiency level has decreased abruptly. Though Im using the bike in optimal condition and proper serviced, the bike is giving me lot of vibration and mileage btw 35 to 40 kmpl. i have cleaned the carburettor, changed timing chain, replaced air filter, but the result is again 35 to 40 kmpl.
