OR ELSE IF YOU WAIT FOR SOME MORE TIME U MAY GO FOR CNG VARIENT PROVIDED ALTO CNG IS AVAILABLE IN YOUR CITY.

@mahendran..my question is it realy makes any difference that alto is only 3 cylinders compare to santro 4 cylinders..i mean steady pik up wise..

Santro is far better car comparing with Alto K series which has got better engine, but engine with 3 cylinders will give less pickup comparing with 4 cylinder engine, and Maruti is not learned from its rear side cramping, take any vehicle of maruti except sx4 car all other cars are very crampy in rear seat, and even front row is also crampy comparing with segment cars of other make and second most worst fact is height factor & ground clerance, even though they claim it can pass road humps, but even if you drive on small road hump, it is touch & go. My advice is go for Santro.

both the cars are good but cant be compared. Santro is much better in terms of power,pickup and comfort excellent ground clearance. i personally like alto(old version) over new k10...I dont find value in additional 40k for new k10 engine.....But alto score on fuel efficiency, low maintainance and better resale value. Also please dont buy non AC car...AC is mandatory in rainy season and summers. Better stretch ur budget or opt for used santro.....
