Go for a diesel car as your usage is high, ritz ldi will cost you about 5 if you can stretch your budget to 5, or wagonr cng will also be a good option it will fit your budget and will be very economical too. By your usage you will cover about 25 K in 8 months after which you will get advantage of CNG, CNG wagonr is about 50 K costly and you save about 2 Rs/Km using CNG, so your extra cost will be nullified after 25 K usage. Shiva please correct me if I am wrong.
You can also go for user Swift/Dzire (ldi/vdi.)

Hi. WAGON R CNG WOULD BE THE BEST CHOICE IF YOUR USAGE IS HIGH. ACCORDING TO THE INFORMATIONS I GOT, I HOPE THE CNG USERS MAY SAVE 60 % OF FUEL COST.BUT U MAY HAVE TO FIND OUT WHETHER CNG IS AVAILABLE IN YOUR CITY.OR ELSE U MAY NEED TO WAIT MAY BE ANOTHER 04 TO 06 MONTHS.

Thanks everybody....I live in mumbai so CNG availibility is not an issue but i was wondering about the performance of CNG cars, I heard the pickup in CNG car is very bad and also high maintainance cost. I was actually thinking of used Verna , Dzire or Swift vdi(all used. But see a challange in the availibility of well maintained caR. pLS SUGGEST SHALL I GO FOR USED OR NEW CAR CONSIDERING MAINTAINANCE AND PERFORMANCE CRITERIA.

I suggest u to buy used skoda of 2008

New :
1: Swift LDi(on road around 5.15)
2: Indica Vista Quadrajet
3: Indigo Manza, would be the best selection. (not sure about the price).

Used :
1. Skoda Octavia
2. Hyundai Verna
3. Chevy Optra

Never go for SKODA,because its maintanence coast is heavy.Better you go through the fatures and engine power of Indigo Manza and swift dezire select appropriate one.
