Cars Q&A
i am planning to buy the upgraded version of recently launched Hyundai i10,what is the difference between the CRDI and Kappa2 engine,is this that a big factor,i like the 1.1 magna with crdi engine ,is this engine going to be phased out .or should i think of kappa2 engine

Answers:
CRDI is a Diesel engine (Comman Rail Direct Injection) there is no Diesel engine in i10. Hyundai i10 comes with 2 engine:
1. Kappa 2 VTVT engine powers 80BHP with 1200cc (Petrol)
2. iRDE 2 engine powers 70BHP with 1100cc. (Petrol)
If you want more power then choose Kappa2 engine of i10, it is costly by Rs20,000 than a iRDE2 Engine. iRDE2 is a new launch and will not phased out soon
