i will recommend u i-10 and chevrolet beat. both are gud cars and have gud value for money. both of them are comfortbale. although i recommend beat coz it is more dynamic and stylish but its totally personal choice

I'm also suggesting you to go for Alto because of its resale value,low maintanance and better milleage. Comparing with Alto, Santro have more space in the boot and the dicky area, While you are going for an outing and all it will help you to carry all the things and enjoy the ride comfortably.

he wants to buy a second hand car. i don't think chevy beat is available much in the second hand market. you could easily find an alto or santro though.according to me,santro xing would be the best option due to the boot space and better interiors and seats than the alto. since you plan to use it for family outings too,you should go for the xing IMO.you could easily find one below 2 lakh range.

WagonR has much leg space inside,ideal for tall persons.

i will suggest you for santro zing.smooth running,comfortable. i had MARUTI-800,WAGON-R.SANTRO ZING IS THE BEST OPTION FOR SECOND HAND CAR.

hy man i wnt to suggest u New AltoK10....its a best car in its cetegory....low mentence, Best Price, Best Money Value, Good Milage and yeah if ur budgate is near abou 5 lakh. then POLO is best....take a test drive of Polo its really awsme car......
