Go for Diesel since you use 60km per day, Fiat Punto 90BHP would be the best choise, the most powerfulhatch.

If you like sedan then go for Dezire Zdi.

For u it would be wise to go for diesel since ur daily commute is 60 kms.Go for Ford Figo 1.4 TDCI.Its great Value for money, great drive and handling, nice interiors, spacious and comfortable with nice features at a very good price.I own a Figo petrol and just love it.Many experts rate Figo Diesel very highly..

Better go for an any diesel car of Maruthi(Swift VDI & Ritz VDI) brand which they will give better fuel economy as well as low on maintainance and also it has large capacity of Service centers in whole India.
Currently I am using Swift Dzire ZDI model which is giving around 20KM on higway and 18KM on city traffic.

Mr. Laxmi narayana, I am an owner of Swift Dzire but datas you are giving is very dificult to belive that it gives mielage of 18 KM. in City. The vehicle is too good in it's catagory, but if you get 18KM/L mileage, then I think there is definately some mistakes either between us. It should not be more than 15KM in city considering that you are an expert driver.

Consider company-fitted Maruti CNG cars. Maruti has launched wagon r , sx4 and alto in cng versions, which have very low running costs even when compared with diesel cars. cng is cheaper and gives a mileage more than what diesel cars give.

Hi. First of all you didnt mention whether u need a hatchback or a sedan. If u can compromise on the boot, then go for the vw polo, as u could buy the highline model which fits in ur range.U cud either go for the polo diesel as it is fun to drive, well built and reliable. If ur looking for a sedan go for the vento-petrol which offers superior performance and reliability compared to manza.
