good points- extremely spacious, sturdy,
bad points- NO DIESEL engine. Looks are dated, PRICE was extremely high when it was launched. Looked like just another car on the road (not aspirational enough)

I have read that they are going to launch the new UVA which is lot better and it may have a diesel. Following is the link how it would look like (This is a RS concept so it may or may not have the specs mentioned)

if the product is VFM its sells, this the basic point.chevy spark sells ,beat is a hot cake ,even cruze a premium product has decent numbers but aveo uva doesnt .honda models are hot selling except jazz ,similar is the case with skoda fabia,all hyundai's sell except getz another example is mahindra logan .none of the cars mentioned have any problem except their placement i.e.their price in comparsion to what they offer and what the competition offers at a better price.another classical example the maruti baleno .logan has started gaining numbers after the pricecut.

Reasons for ChevyUVA poor mkt appears true, but the car gives good mileage and robust. Hope the next version will carry the impact for aggresive sales. Public liking is unpredictable. e-x I just hate to see the look of Swift fm beginning, 1950's an ugly Mayflower car fm UK was on the road. Swift reminds me that, so ugly, but then Indian public likes it!!!
