Cars Q&A
I own a Santro Zing. In the dashboard there is is a digital indicator which blinks when the petrol level is very low.An analog fuel meter is also available in dash board. The electronic indicator glows for a while and turns automatically off. After a travel of certain distance it glows continuously.
What is the meaning for this?
I calculate the fuel economy of my car by observing distance covered in between two consecutive odo meter reading when the electronic meter glows.
Is this a correct method?

Hi,
The fuel economy can be best judged with noting down fuel filled and reading in analog meter. The digital indicator is forwarning aboout the fuel level being low and necessity to fill.
