i want to buy the tvs jive.this will be my first bike.i dont know how to ride a bike.is it safe to learn and have the first riding experience on a clutchless bike like TVS jive. And also i want to know the overall market response of tvs jive.Whether i should go for it?

The Jive would be the right motorcycle for a first time rider and there is no doubt about that. TVS is a serious manufactuer who likes to keep evolving and make products that are better suited for the indian user.

Some mechanics do complain that the spares are on the expensive side and are hard to locate sometimes. However if you have an authorised service centre in your vicinity, that should not deter you from going ahead.

Experienced users would like to go for a conventional gearbox rather than a semi automatic one like that on the Jive. However the fact remains that it is a very unique product and if you care for it well, you will get your money's worth. After all resale value is not the only thing in life. Sometimes you need to take a risk.
