Santro is years old, and you may not feel like buying a new car.

go for maruti wagon r excellent mileage, space interior, exterior all refreshed engine stop thing and go for it very good responsive car EVEN YOU dont think of service before 10k km even in other;s u have to think after every 5k so directly cuts the cost of maintain and also average is good 18 gives 16-17 in city driving or depend on ur driveablity

Choose WagonR, it has got new K-series engine, Santro's eRLX engine is pretty old

Dear Sirs, ACCORDING TO THE EXPERT's ADVISES,I AM PLANNING TO BUY A NEW WAGON R BLUE EYED BOY SHORTLY.MEANTIME,PLEASE LET ME KNOW THAT ANY HIKE IN IT's PRICE EXPECTED IN SHORT FUTURE ? AND WILL IT BE BETTER IF I WAIT TILL JAN '2011 FOR 2011 MODEL OR SHALL I BUY NOW ITSELF FOR AVOIDING FOR PRICE HIKE IF ANY.

I would also recommend for Wagon-r, becos we also need to look into the running cost. While Santro will be lovely to drive it will certainly pinch your pocket (as fuel efficiency is not that good), but Wagon-r with the new engine (k-series) is certainly a good car on this count. However, the pick up of this car in the second gear is not that good (with ac on). I test drove the car and giving my experience. If we can manage that it is safe to go in for wagon-r (maruti backup is there). All the best.
