Dear sir, i thought swift has the best engine & performance followed by i20 and then polo. Have also heard that polo is short of features whereas i20 has immense.

Yes, polo may have the best ride and handling and is solidly build, but nothing else...an avearge 3 cyl engine, may have high maintaince because as of now only 50% of its parts have been localized, less on features, lack of rear space, lack of service stations, etc
Then why people / experts are recomending polo over swift or others?

Polo is new on the road, But the engine under the hood is not new and it doesn't offer fuel efficiency and smoothness. But the car offers ride comfort. It also comes with a poor central lock system and the car doesn't offer you much features.

Go for Swift, proven and reliable with wide Maruthi support, which lacks with VW.
